Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Lisa Andriessen was instructed in the fundamentals of design and sewing in the old European tradition from an early age.

She was fortunate enough to be able live and work for five years as a designer in Italy, surrounded by, and immersed in the history, beauty, and timelessness of Italian culture.

As a veteran of the Southern California entertainment industry, she learned how to turn images and impressions into three-dimensional realities. These influences are evident in her work today.

Lisa blends her skill and intuition with the transformative power of dreams, images, and memories into each handcrafted piece. Elegant fabrics, wild-crafted herbs and spices, photographs, and rare items found in nature, are combined to create lasting representations of treasured memories, or dreams yet to come.
